Kal Hwy or Maunalua Bay waterfront extends from Kahala to Portlock in the C&C of Honolulu.  It is home to some of my favorite beaches and surf spots.  The beaches are typically empty due to lack of parking and beach access, so it is a perfect place for your own private get away.  Maunalua bay is on the lee side of the island, so Tradewinds blow in the side to offshore directions predominantly in this area and make Maunalua Bay one of the most desirable beach and oceanfront locations.
